The Rottenwood Creek project is a trail project that begins at the ball fields on Aviation Road, passing through the KSU Campus to land at Barclay Circle, continuing on Barclay Circle to Cobb Pkwy, continuing south on Cobb Pkwy to Rottenwood Creek, then following Rottenwood Creek east until completing at Franklin Gateway. It is a paved trail that winds along Rottenwood Creek under a portion of the Interstate 75/285 interchange. At the trailhead it is identified as the Bob Callan Trail. There is a little known but delightful trail along Rottenwood Creek that recently opened.
